Prince Alphonse d’Aurelle is a cousin of Queen Celestine and a senior member of the d’Aurelle bloodline. He led the northern siege of Lumière with a legalist’s precision, pressing procedure, precedent, and continuity while avoiding any clear end to his stewardship. His bid ultimately failed when power shifted to a new dynasty, ending the d’Aurelle line’s hold on Gallance.
