Kael Ashenshade

A veiled teenager from the orient, Kael travelled from his homeland with his family, his father was an emissary to a nobleman in Strykara. After the time of his service had expired, rather than return to their homeland, the family took their modest wealth and moved to a small village where their money would serve to keep them comfortable for as long as they chose to remain. Kael would often venture out of town exploring the nearby wood, though never venturing too far for fear of the great monster that lives there.

Kael is suspicious of most people. Being a foreigner, he expects distrust in return. Often times, to avoid interacting with strangers, he will pretend not to speak the local language.

Though he longs for his homeland, seeing the moon goddess shine down on him night after night gives him comfort.
