Luminar

Luminar are creatures of light and life. They carry the spark of Anara inside themselves, from which all life springs. Although most live in Dawn’s Basin, following the War of Light’s Fall, small sects of luminar can be found in many of the larger human settlements. Luminar are welcome in most societies where it is considered a great honor to have them bless a newborn child.

Luminar appear as asexual humans with bodies made of crystal and a crown of crystals about their head like hair. Their skin color ranges across all the hues of a rainbow and their ears sweep back into points. Most favor the clothes of humanity. Where they come from and how new luminar are created is a mystery even to most luminar. They are birthed fully mature.

Most luminar are chaotic.

Luminar Traits

• Darkvision 120 ft.: You have Darkvision out to a specified distance and can see in dim light within that radius as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
• Inner Light: As a magic action, you can create light as if you had cast the light cantrip.
• Magic Resistance: You are naturally resistant to magic. You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
• Rainbow Bridge: While standing in the first light of dawn, as a magic action, you can summon a rainbow bridge which connects to any other place that the first rays of dawn currently illuminate. The bridge remains for up to 30 seconds and only you can traverse it.
