The Camp
Population: 15-20 transients (constantly changing)
Leader: None ("Old" Mirrel is the closest thing to a leader)
A ramshackle collection of desperate scavengers, failed treasure hunters, and outcasts who squat in the ruins. They have no organized defense and no rules beyond “don’t steal from each other,” and this rule is often broken. During the day, they scatter to search the ruins; at night they huddle together around small fires in the most defensible structures, taking turns on watch. They are paranoid, suspicious of outsiders, and quick to violence. The Brass Scale Collective considers them “bottom-feeders” and refuses them entry.
Services
None official, but individual members might trade information, join a party temporarily for a cut, or sell whatever they’ve scavenged (usually junk)
