Archeth Valorn

Archeth Valorn lies broken at the base of Mount Archia, its cyclopean terraces and shattered spires half-buried beneath avalanches of stone and centuries of abandonment. The city was built predominately outward rather than upward: spilling into the Corvan Plain with wide roads, enormous civic halls, and numerous residential districts. Much of the city still stands, but in a state of arrested decay or buried beneath rock and stone. Mt. Archia dominates every street and square, blotting out the horizon and casting long, shifting shadows across the ruins. No one claims the city now and travelers avoid lingering past dark, whispering of dangers that lurk unseen in Archeth Valorn.

High District

Once the grandest of Archeth Valorn’s districts, the earthquake devastated this area which houses the path to the summit of Mount Archia.

Market Sprawl

Vast, picked-over bazaars where novice scavengers hunt by day and the Pressed walk their old market routes by night.

People

"Old" Mirrel

Mirrel is a wary survivor who has outlasted everyone by trust no one. She is paranoid but knows the ruins better than anyone.

Talven

Brother Talven has lived in the ruins of Archeth Valorn for two decades and hopes to complete a pilgrimage to the summit of Mount Archia.
