Elevation: 26,789 ft.

Rising more than 25,000 feet above the Corvan Plain, and thousands of feet taller than any of the surrounding mountains, Mount Archia is a majestic site. By day, the tallest peak betrays an oddly soft quality to its light but at night the true marvels are revealed. The summit shines with a perpetual light even in the deepest darkness, and the sky is lit by an aurora of colored lights—greens, ambers, and violets—which dance above it like a crown of fire. Shepherds and travelers mark numerous “wandering stars”—unusually bright points of light that glide across the night sky while priests proclaim these lights the “eyes of the Twin Gods” and dub the summit of Archia a sacred place of the Twin Gods; scholars note only that the phenomena are ancient, regular, and unexplained. At the mountain’s base lie the ruins of Archeth Valorn, a once-great city destroyed by earthquake centuries past.
